As defined by the DLNA, the term digital home refers to a home network of CE, mobile and PC devices that cooperate transparently, delivering simple, seamless interoperability that enhances and enriches user experiences.

Use Case Scenarios White Paper (PDF)
To support the creation of the design guidelines, DLNA has developed some overall guidelines based on a comprehensive set of use cases and scenarios. This white paper summarizes some of the use cases being modeled to drive the development of guidelines and gives an overview of how DLNA generated the first version of its Interoperability Guidelines version 1.0.
